Museo Comico

Inaugurated in August 2000, the Museum was the realisation of a long-held dream of Dimitri.

The museum was set up by Harald Szeemann and contains exhibits of posters, photographs, musical instruments, objects, masks, sculptures, toys, clowns, and elephants of every type.

All the articles on exhibit are directly connected with comic theatre, the circus, and the figure of the clown. There is also a projection of films by the greatest comedians, in particular “Grock”, the king of clowns.

Opening hours:
On performance days: from 17.00 to 24.00
Opening and guided tours for groups on request.
The guided tour of the Museo Comico is available in different languages.
The visit lasts one hour and is open to a max. of 20 people. The cost is Fr. 150.-.

Entrance cost:
Fr.5.- (Fr. 3.- with reduction)
Entrance to the museum is free for those with a ticket for the performance.
